(One attacking from the air and the other on the ground. It proves to be a viable tactic as they cover each others' bases. Red sicking to the ground lets him deal with vines as soon as they pop out of the ground and Mikasa's vertical movement makes sure neither of them get surrounded.
Honestly, she's glad he chose to stay and fight. The dense plant life here would be difficult for her to manage on her own.)
Is your sword also firing bullets?
(She has to ask with the mix of gunshots coming from his direction.)
[Time for him to show off a bit. He twirls the gunblade around his finger and momentarily rests it against his shoulder. He even ejects the first shell by hand, without jamming his gunblade.]
What, yours doesn't?
[Of course, they couldn't just try and hold their ground forever-- they had to eventually cut themselves a path out that would let them rejoin the others. And after a few more well-placed blows from the both of them, one small side street section was left considerably cleared...]
(It's small enough to work and they've proven themselves capable of handling what the plant can throw at them. Mikasa's concerns are about him being grounded, so her making the first move is to help clear the way as much as she can to ensure his safety. Even in another world, she can't shake that soldier's mindset.
Still, it's looking a little dense where's she's swinging. Hopefully she and Red can make their way out of here soon.)
[Good enough for him. Red gives a quick strike of his sword to one of the more stubborn vines in his path, and- hugging his gear close- he bolts in through the alley, pausing only to ensure the path was clear behind him-- and firing off a couple rounds into one that had started creeping back into the path.
...How many had he fired by now? Furballs, he'd lost count, and he wasn't going to be able to reload while half-naked. He'd have to carefully ration the last shot or two shots until they made some distance for themselves.]
